Pity party? Ex-Giants coach Joe Judge loads up on pizza and beer after getting fired, report says

And now for something completely different.

One day after being fired by the New York Giants, Joe Judge loaded up on pizza and beer, which were delivered to his New Jersey home on Wednesday.

That’s according to TMZ.

Pictures, obtained by TMZ Sports, show the newly unemployed 40-year-old had nine boxes of pizza as well as several cases of Michelob Ultra and Coors Light delivered to his place. We’re also told Judge had flowers arrive on his doorstep as well.

Judge lost his job Tuesday after going 10-23 over two seasons as head coach.

“Steve (Tisch) and I both believe it is in the best interest of our franchise to move in another direction,” said team president John Mara. “We met with Joe yesterday afternoon to discuss the state of the team. I met again with Joe this afternoon, and it was during that conversation I informed Joe of our decision. We appreciate Joe’s efforts on behalf of the organization.

“I said before the season started that I wanted to feel good about the direction we were headed when we played our last game of the season. Unfortunately, I cannot make that statement, which is why we have made this decision.

“We will hire a general manager and that person will lead the effort to hire a new head coach.”

The Giants fired Judge one day after general manager Dave Gettleman retired following four unsuccessful seasons running New York’s front office.
